Lille vs Lyon by Lucik86

After an impressive domestic season last year, Lille have struggled for form in 2014/15. They lost 2-1 to Bastia last weekend after three games unbeaten. Lille opened the score early in the game but slowly gave up initiative and didn’t had the power to resist to incoming danger.

Lille easily go from one extreme to another. One round they make extraordinary efforts and surprise everyone through their dedication and the next round they are soft and easily outplayed.

For me Lyon is the surprise of the season. A fifth place finish last year offered no indication that Hubert Fournier’s men could challenge. Unbeaten in eleven and with seven clean sheets in the past ten games the team look last match Lyon won with 1-0 at home against Nantes.

Lille is without Michael Frey,Adama Soumaoro,Marvin Martin and David Rozehnal.

Lyon is without Milan Bisevac,Clément Grenier,Arnold Mvuemba and Christophe Jallet is doubtfoul but Alexandre Lacazette is back and scoring after a recent absence. The striker has been unstoppable this season with 21 goals in 23 matches.

For Lyon come 3 away matches with Lille, Montpellier and Marseille. Coach Hubert Fournier told a press conference: "This is a key point. (After these three matches) we will know where our opponents are and where we will be''.

I think the match against Lille would be the easiest ,but I do not think it will be as easy when these two sides met earlier in the season(3-0 for Lyon ).

My bet for this match : Lyon to win
