Man. United vs Sunderland by Mudhara_9er

Manchester United were very unlucky not to get a result against Swansea, as i fel they played a good match but failed to utilise their possesion and chances created. RVP wasted a lot of chaces and looked like a man without confidence, he will be out this match and that will most likely mean Falcao and Rooney will spearhead attack. Falcao has been a shadow of himself this season but he will want to prove not only to Man United but to other big European clubs that he still is a world class stricker. The defeat to Swansea saw United drop to 4th position. They are in a situation that demands a win against Sunderland because Liverpool, Tottenham and Southampton all have chance at adding more pressure on United who have a Champions League spot as the main goal this season.

Although they lost, they can be happy with the way they played and with their currant home form combined with Sunderlands shakey form i think United have a great chance to win this match, but the odds aren´t good enough in my opinion that is why i back them to score in both halves at reasonable odds.

3/5 home matches have produced goals in both halves for United.

United have scored 2 goals per match at home this season, with the first goal coming in the 1st half.

Sunderland are ina battle for a survival, they are currantly 3 points clear of the relegation zone and they will certainly want to get a result at Old Trafford. They managed to get a 1-1 draw at home but will have to try to get a result without Rodwell (scored in the first match) and Buckley who are both injured.

This is a very important match for Manchester United as they have Arsenal (FA Cup) Newcastle, Tottenham and Liverpool coming up and two back to back bad results could have a negative impact on the teams spirit.
