Deportivo vs Celta by Gaz12321

Both sides head in to this game having played well in recent weeks, Depor took 7 point from their 3 league games prior to last weekends defeat to Real Madrid with wins over Rayo & Eibar following a draw with Granada. The arrival of Costa Rican midfield man Celso Borges has given the club a huge lift and he has had a massive impact from the off with his new side, the main criticism for me with Depor is the lack of a goal scorer, which could work in our favour here. The most notable absentee for Depor is full back Laure but they do welcome back Sidnei into the back 4, Jose Rodriguez is also in contention for a return to action.

Celta have no fresh concerns with Mallo and Oubina the only 2 absentees once again, it's likely that they will field the same xi that stunned champions Atletico Madrid 2-0 at Balaidos last weekend, previous to this game they drew at Real Sociedad following a victory against lowly Cordoba, the front 3 of Nolito, Larrivey & Orellana have looked really good recently.

Both teams form has been similar in recent weeks and although I feel Celta are slightly stronger, home advantage will play a part here. I fancy this will be a fairly tense affair and to be honest can't see a great deal between the sides in terms of quality, the longer the game goes on with the score tied the less ambitious both sides will come as they won't want to take too many risks and lose the game. It's difficult to provide stats for draws so i'm not going to try, but this game has a great chance of finishing level.

Good luck if you follow.
