Rennes vs Bordeaux by Miaunel

A match favorite for over since 2013 first leg. All legs since then ended with minimum 2 goals and with Bordeaux leading 2-2-0. Rennes is clearly not the favorite today, they lost even to Toulouse in previous fixture and that lose could have an excuse because Toulouse is a great team in my opinion and one of the 2 teams I support in Ligue 1. Surely, the match against Toulouse had an excuse clearly but the one against Caen didn't. The important fact about Caen is that they are staking everything to offensive since promotion and that's the reason why they lack in defensive and it's quite a good tactic, it worked slower at the start of the season and now they're doing quite well, scoring 2 goals against PSG away or having 4 wins in a row that ended with a draw. Getting back to our Rennes, we can observe also that they puted problems to Marseille at home, drawing the leg 1-1. Rennes is a powerfull team that proved alot since few weeks ago, in 2014 they won Lille, Marseille, Monaco and these wins puted them over the middle-half of standings but I'm more interested in present and since 2015 started they are lacking alot home and home looks a little bit better than away. Losing to Caen and after drawing Marseille shows a not constant resulting meanwhile where Bordeaux had problems till 2 weeks ago with scoring. Couldn't beaten' Bastia or Guingamp but lost closely to PSG 2-1 away or to Nice so close. Now they are looking good, 2 wins in a row against Evian that is strong home or St. Etienne home with the same score of 1-0.

Injured for Bordeaux are Jussie and Bellion, 2nd scorer Rolan is doubt and Orban suspended.

Injured for Rennes are Pajot, Feret and Kana-Biyik.

Since N'Tep and Toivonen are available for Rennes, and they are not lower than DIabate or Khazri or Rolan, my pick remains just scoring and not winning the halves.
