Colchester vs Bristol City by TFB

League One leaders Bristol City travel to Essex to face Colchester United at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Saturday.

The home side are currently sat in the relegation zone in 21st position. The main reason is their home form which is one of the worst in the division with only 3 wins, 2 draws and 10 defeats. Their last 8 home games have only produced 1 win with the other 7 games being defeats. Their last match was another home defeat, this time to MK Dons by 1 goal to nil.

Another problem for Colchester is scoring goals. They recently sold their top goal scorer, Freddie Sears, to Ipswich Town and haven't yet replaced him with someone of at least equal ability.

The visitors are in decent shape and currently top the table by 5 points and if results go their way this will be a massive 8 points! Bristol City are currently clear favourites for the League One title.

Recently they have only suffered 1 defeat in 9 games which was a 3-1 loss to in-form Sheffield United at Ashton Gate.

Another positive for Bristol is the return of the top goal scorer Aaron Wilbraham. Wilbraham has 10 goals this season and will certainly feature after his substitute appearance in Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Peterborough. Kieran Agard should also feature after scoring his 8th goal of the season against the Posh.

Bristol City certainly have goals in them, a department in which Colchester are struggling.
