Shrewsbury vs AFC Wimbledon by TFB

League Two leaders Shrewsbury Town look to continue their excellent home record against 11th placed AFC Wimbledon at Greenhous Meadow.

Shrewsbury are currently on a 45 game unbeaten run at home in League Two and have an excellent record this season of 12 wins and only 3 draws - The best in the country! They have also only conceded 6 goals at home and have scored an impressive 30 goals so far. This run is largely down to Jamie Collins who has 13 goals so far this season home and away.

Forward Tyrone Barnett (2/1) should face AFC Wimbledon following his recovery from injury. Midfielder Keith Southern (2/0) completes his 3 game ban for his red card at Newport so will be unavailable.

For AFC Wimbledon, Dave Winfield is set to start after joining on loan from York City. Defender Mark Phillips (2/0) starts a 3 game ban while fellow defenders Andy Frampton (4/0), Jake Goodman (6/1) and Will Nightingale (4/0) are out. Having 4 defenders missing is not ideal when you are facing the league leaders.

Wimbledon's last match was a decent 0-0 away draw to Burton Albion, especially when you consider they were down to 10 men half way through the 2nd half. This draw makes them 4 unbeaten in League Two but against the attack of Shrewsbury i think their depleted defence will struggle.
