Barcelona vs Villarreal by Pinstripe

Barcelona
VS
Villarreal
Barcelona battle it out with Villarreal in the first leg of the semi final of Copa del Rey. A pretty straightforward bet here, not much to explain.

Barcelona have seen over 4.5 goals in eight of the ten matches the Catalunyans have played after the winter break. Messi, Suarez and Neymar are finally starting to gel and fulfill the expectations that have been placed on the shoulders of the South American trio. Barca's attacking play was a joy to watch in their last league game against Bilbao, and I expect them to pick up where they left off.

Villarreal are one of the in-form teams of la Liga. They are currently on an amazing goalscoring run, spanning over four months and a total of 27 consecutive games in all competitions. Villarreal will travel to Camp Nou without Jokic, Adrian Marin and Uche, all of whom are injured. They acquired more firepower in January in the form of Joel Campbell who performed superbly in last summers world cup. Villarreal already scored twice at Camp Nou in a recent 3-2 league defeat against Barca, and I think they will score tonight, too, considering that Barcelona's defence really isn't airtight by any means.

All in all I believe it's going to be a hard-fought game with no shortage of goalscoring chances at either end of the pitch.

The competition is Copa del Rey, obviously - not Primera Liga as I mistakenly wrote in the match info. Sorry for the mixup.
