Ito vs Edmund by Jessica Pare

Hong Kong challenger, final, hardcourt

Ito will face Edmund

Sundays mean always in this sport end of many tournaments, so pick for the next one, the final in Hong Kong between two very different players: Edmund and Ito.

To be honest with you, I havent been closely following this tournament challenger so I havent a total confidence in these predictions while about the slam I got to follow it and I will be able to be more realistic.

Anyway I got to see Ito against Chung and Edmund against Nishioka and what convinced me the most is precisely Ito.

Edmund was greatly helped by the refereeing mistakes that have compromised the victory of 1 set in favor of Nishioka who then gave as gift the second part of the game while Ito had to literally conquer the victory against Chung and what impressed me about this tennis player was his ability to turn the defense into attack.

Edmund is the most powerful tennis especially on the side of the forehead while Ito is certainly more skilled tennis player and a game faster than the English tennis player.

For me, the brain can beat the arm in this one!

It seems that you undervalue the kid :)
I've been following him for the last year and, trust me, he is and will be a better player than the jap will ever be.

@Khum u right, he's a great player, i like his style on hard court, but in this tournament (I saw only 2 match) I was impressed by the ability of the Japanese. My mistake , however failing to follow from start to finish !
