Promotion chasers Ipswich Town welcome 2nd bottom Wigan Athletic to Portman Road as they hope to spring back into the automatic promotion places.

As I always mention when I tip Ipswich, they have one of the best Championship home records in England over recent years and this year is no different. So far this season they have won 9, drawn 2 and lost twice against 2 other promotion chasers in Norwich (1-0) and Derby (2-1).

Although their last match was a 3-2 defeat to an in-form Brighton, they have only lost 1 other match in their last 12 league games, a 2-1 loss against Derby County, my pick for the leagues best side.

Some good team news for Ipswich sees the return of Forward David McGoldrick (24/7) to the squad. Freddie Sears will be hoping to play a part in what would be his home debut but goalkeeper Dean Gerken (14/0) and Midfielder Luke Hyam (16/1) are still sidelined.

Wigan have been terrible recently and have only 2 away wins all season, albeit one against Derby. The club recently appointed controversial manager Malky Mackay but he hasn't been able to halt the slide with the Latics only gaining 1 point from their last 5 games.

Wigan have also recently seen some of their top players depart in Ben Watson, Shaun Maloney & Callum McManaman so they are now left without any recognised goal scorer.

Their last match was a 1-0 home defeat to mid table Huddersfield so I can only see this match going one way!
