Seahawks vs Packers by iSpree
Tonight the Superbowl winner from last season will host the Green Bay Packers in the NFC final.
I think the odds for a Packers win is too high. Packers and Seattle played both a very good season and so both have a record of 12-4. Seattle's start was a little bit "streaky" but they get better and better with the time and recently the showed some very good performances.
Rodgers, the QB of the Packers, playes a outstanding season too. In the game against the Bears he scored unbelievable 6 touchdowns in only one half (HT: Green Bay 42-0). In the other half the second quaterback, Flynn, came in because the match was already won. In the last match in Regular Season vs the Detroit Lions , which decided who won't play a wild-card game, the Packers won, but Suh, a Lions player, injured Rodgers with a intentional step on his foot. In the last game vs the Cowboys he seemed not 100% fit and took care of his foot very well. He didn't put weight on his foot when he didn't need to do. Packers won against Dallas, who were a big superbowl candidate too, and now they will face the Seahawks. It all came down here, but I don't understand the high odds. Yes Rodgers might not be 100% fit and Packers play on the road, but Packers aren't the big underdog for me here.
Seahawks are a big Superbowl winner again this year, but as already said, I don't think that Green Bay is such an easy opponent to beat tonight. Divisional game last round against the Panthers wasn't the biggest mission and the endscore of this game was 31-17. Seahawks won the conference so they have home-rights till superbowl. The Dallas Cowboys already bet Seattle at home this season and if they could do it the Packers can do it as well.
Moreover the H2H statistics are also for Green Bay: SEA 3-6 GBP in last 9 games.
The only problem I see for the Packers is Lynch, the running back from the Seahawks. He is one of the best running backs this season and if he is in "beast-mode" he is unstoppable and even good defenders can't stop him. On the other side Eddie Lacy isn't that bad too and showed some good runs as well this season.
I can see a very tight game here tonight and I can't back the spread here (Seahawks -8, Green Bay +8). Green Bay has a real chance to win tonight.
