West Ham vs Hull City by Rahul

West Ham come into this game with such high odds despite being in decent form purely due to the fact they played 120 minutes + penalties against Everton mid-week in the FA Cup replay. The Hammers drew 2-2 with Hull City when they were in good scoring form. The fact that West Ham have lost only 1 game at home with a 2-1 loss to Arsenal, but since then you have to look to August for the last time the Hammers lost at home.

With a strong attacking force of Valencia, Caroll and Nolan in support; that front 3 can definitely cause problems for Steve Bruce's men. They also have Downing who has definitely been West Ham's player of the season so far, and his creativity in the free role behind the forwards has helped him create opportunities as he sees fit. Alex Song will also hold this team solidly in the middle of the park, to keep things tight and break up play as the opportunities arise.

Hull City will struggle to make an impact especially when they are missing their front 2 strikers in Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez. They have scored only 2 out of their last 8 games, and it will be a bigger struggle tonight with their forwards missing. Away from home, Hull have only won away twice against a poor Sunderland on Boxing Day and QPR on the opening day.

The Hammers look strong, will look to create a statement in front of their home fans, and this price is full value for them to be backed.pin
