Bristol City vs Doncaster by Hovi

This is a replay of the FA Cup 3rd round, as these two teams drew 1-1 at Doncaster. The winner of this tie gets the chance to play either West Ham or Everton at home, so both are pretty interested in qualifying. Bristol City had a long trip to Doncaster in the first leg, and despite being an attacking minded team and in very good form being at the top of the table in League One, they had to settle for a point, it was Doncaster who took the lead in the second half, and Smith equalised for Bristol City.

Since that game, Bristol City played two more games, in the Vance Trophy Cup they defeated Gillingham 4-2 away from home, and also won 4-0 in the league over Notts County at home. This team is in great form, good attacking displays and scoring goals, so you can count on them to score here, and who knows, might even cover the over bet by themselves as Doncaster now has a long trip to make to Bristol.

Bristol City also enjoyed a 3-0 win at home over Doncaster at the start of this season. Doncaster managed a 2-2 draw away at Oldham meanwhile, they were 2-0 down and got two late goals to get a point there. They are unbeaten in their last 5 games, and can score today, odds are lowering on the home win, and my bet is on goals, as Doncaster can get on the scoresheet, they did not play that bad in the first leg, and could have won it, while Bristol City is all on attack in recent weeks, playing overish games.
