GS Warriors vs Cleveland Cavs by Rahul

The Golden State Warriors are 15-1 at home & 28-5 on the season; and while their defense has definitely been the stand out feature of their teams' success this season, they continue to rack up a lot of points against all oppositions.

The Warriors are averaging over 109 points per game over the course of the season, which is the highest in the NBA. They have now had 5 straight games with 110 points+ including against good defensive teams like Oklahoma, Indiana, Toronto and also including some poorer teams like Minnesota and Philadelphia in this run. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson have been the particular scorers for the Warriors averaging 45 points between the 2 of them; and when you watch the games, they come at a very easy pace. Additionally, they have had some great contributions from a number of players including Speights, Barnes, Green, Iguadola, Lee and now the returning Andrew Bogut.

The Cavaliers on the other hand have been struggling especially since LeBron James has been out. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games; while losing by an average margin of 10 points. James will still be another week before he is ready; but the team made some trades in the meanwhile to improve themselves. Shumpert who was brought in a defensive specialist, is out injured for a few more weeks, while JR Smith scored 0 in his debut for the Cavaliers and doesn't know to play good defense these days.

The Warriors have been strong at home averaging 114 points per game and beating every opponent in their building, and I expect their strong run to continue with another victory for the Warriors while scoring over 110 points.
