Orlando vs Cleveland Cavs by Lloyds

The Cavaliers disappointed last night in Miami, losing the game 101-91 to the Heat. However, tonight they'll have a chance to bounce back with a win over Orlando Magic. The host ended their 4-game slide against Boston (100-95) but if it wasn't for 23-point lead at the halftime they would have lost the game. Orlando and Cleveland already met once this season, a month ago, in a lopsided game which ended as a blowout win for the Cavs.

The defense still remains an issue for the visitors. They allowed 62 points in the first half against Miami last night which exposed their defensive woes even more as the Heat aren't very good offensively this season. Despite giving too many points Cleveland made it a close game in the 4th quarter but they played poorly in the last 6 minutes which is why Miami grabbed a 10-point victory. The Cavaliers face even more trouble as their starting center Anderson Varejao is out for a season due to recent torn Achilles injury so Orlando will know how to take advantage of that fact as Nikola Vucevic is playing great basketball, especially inside the paint. Cleveland lacks shot blockers on their team and are now left with no "true 5" which means they'll have to put in more effort defensively tonight. The Magic are struggling to score, averaging only 91.2 points in their last five games. They are not so good when it comes to defending the 3-point line and teams who space the floor, like Cleveland.

Cleveland will be motivated to end their 3-game slide on the road tonight and they shouldn't have problems dealing with the struggling Magic squad. The Cavs must show that they are a legitimate contender so dropping wins against the weak teams like Orlando are not going in their favor. The odds are more than good and I suggest you take them.
