Swansea vs Aston Villa by Alexis1016

Swansea didn't managed to score much goals in the past 3 games, but in all this 3 games they played well in attack and they missed good chances to score even when they lost to West Ham United away and at home against Spurs. Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jefferson Montero and Leon Britton missed the last game due to minor injuries, but they should be available for this game. Top scorer Wilfred Bony was only on the bench against Hull and he played only 15 minutes on KC Stadium. He should be starter now in the place of Gomis. Surely, the Ivorian striker it's a way better right now than the former Lyon striker.

On the other hand, Aston Villa it's a very defensive team and most likely they will come on Liberty Stadium to play in this way. Anyway, I don't think this defensive style will work very well against Swansea because the Gary Monk side has players who can make the difference especially on the wings, players with great pace and good dribbling and a clinical striker like Bony. Also, Villa will miss some important defensive players like central defenders Philippe Senderos and Nathan Baker, as well defensive midfielder Ashley Westwood. Joe Cole and Libor Kozak are out, while the red card of Gabriel Agbonlahor red card against United was overturned. Right back Alan Hutton and central midfielder Tom Cleverly are back in the squad after suspension. Kieran Richardson it's still suspended

In this conditions, I think Swansea will win this game, but I will go for team goals because Villa it's a dangerous team on the counter, especially as they will have Agbonlahor on the pitch.
