Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics by Rahul

The Boston Celtics have now traded Rajon Rondo; which means Jeff Green is the only experienced player on their lineup who has character and has the chance to even become an All-Star. That said he will be looking to play out of his skin so that Danny Ainge will get calls to trade him to a championship caliber team; maybe someone like the Lakers could use him.

In the meanwhile, since Rondo is out; the importance of Green in the offense is now more important than ever as he will look to lead this team to a weakened and demoralised Miami Heat who have gone 3-7 in their last few matchups.

Green has been averaging 19.5 points for the season so far, but his average is slightly dipped down to 18.5 in the last few games. The line has gone slightly lower because he hasn't passed 18 in the last 3 games. When we look at Green a lot of possessions will now be centered around him. He will get plenty of opportunities to take his 3 point shot, which he attempts around 4/5 per game, knocking down an average of 2. He is also going to do the charity stripe around 5 times per game knocking down at least 4. Other than the threes he is averaging around 4 baskets a game; and we should hope that he goes on an early tear in the first half to get at least 10-12 points; that will make the job easier in the second half.

I expect Green to lead this team even to victory today; and he should do it as their top scorer.
