Brooklyn vs Philadelphia by Lloyds

The Nets could finally catch a break tonight, or some. The team from Brooklyn continue to play poor against the teams that are over 0.500 but the 76ers are far from that. The Nets scored only 80 points in their trip to Chicago but, to be fair to them, two of their starters were out due to injuries. Philadelphia had a similar performance against Atlanta but they are starting to play a better basketball as of late. The 76ers lost 2 games since snapping their 17-game losing streak against Minnesota.

Brooklyn will likely be without their two starters (Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez) in tonight's contest which should reflect on the offense. Lopez and Johnson are among the best scorers on the roster so Brooklyn will have to turn to Deron Williams and Mirza Teletovic to pick up the slack. Teletovic too missed the game against the Bulls but he is probable to start tonight. The visitors are far from finding their groove offensively but tonight's match could be a chance for them to snatch a surprise win. The 76ers' players are giving a lot of effort on the court but lack of experience and ability to score is why they lost 19 games so far. Philadelphia average 91.3 points per game which is the worst figure in the league.

Both teams are not good when it comes to offense. The home side will have to increase their efforts defensively to compensate for the lack of scoring caused by injuries to the main players while the visitors will try to do the same. The two opponents already met, in November, and it wasn't a high score game (99-91 Brooklyn win).
