Marta Paigina vs Keren Shlomo by Tennisguy

This is a quarterfinal match from the Tel Aviv 3 ITF tournament between Marta Paigina from Russia and Keren Shlomo from Israel.

The odds on Shlomo are a bit to high in my opinion because I think this going to be a very even match so at these odds I see a lot f value in backing her. I think that Shlomo is way to experienced to not back in this match considering that she will be facing a 15 y old player. Sure Paigina will probably have a bright future but I don't really see her being such a clear favorite in this one like the odds might suggest.

Shlomo deafeated Zandberg and then to my surprise won against Vasilyeva who I was actually expecting to see in the final. Her win against Vasilyeva 6-1, 6-2 was a very easy one which made me to believe that she is in a very good form and she is very motivated to do well on home ground here in Tel Aviv.

There is a 11 y difference between these players and I think at this stage that will be in Shlomo's favor and considering how well she played so far I really have to back her in this encounter.
