Charlotte vs Boston Celtics by Lloyds

The Hornets got lucky in their latest win over the Knicks (103-102) thereby ending a horrific 10-game losing streak. They are not playing well and if Kemba Walker missed that game-winning layup the losing streak would have been extended to 11 games. Boston are coming into town after playing a good game in Washington but they didn't manage to get the win after a double overtime.

Charlotte struggles on both ends of the floor because the team's best players are not playing efficiently. Al Jefferson and Walker have the ability to carry the team offensively but at the moment they are not doing that. Lance Stephenson, their main offseason acquisition, also struggles on offense as he scores only 10.4 points per game. The Hornets are nowhere near their efficiency on defense that was present in the previous season which is good news for the Celtics who are among the best scoring teams in the league. The visitors average 105.6 points per game and have the ability to score from all positions. They enjoy playing in fast-pace games which gives them a lot of shot opportunities.

The winner of tonight's contest is difficult to predict because Charlotte are trying to bounce back from their poor form but I don't trust them, yet. Defenses won't play much of a role tonight for both squads, I believe. pin

For Charlotte no because they had a 5-day rest but Boston players could be tired since they played double overtime two nights ago..
