Indiana-Pacers
VS
Atlanta-Hawks
Atlanta Hawks are in the middle of a 6 game winning streak beating some really good teams in Brooklyn, Miami and New Orleans along with lower end teams like Denver, Boston and Charlotte; and will be looking forward to taking on the offensive minded Denver Nuggets, which will push them also on to score more points.

The Hawks starting 5 might not get you all riled up, but their performances as a team is really what has stood out. The 5 of Teague, Korver, Caroll, Millsap and Horford have all averaged double digits. Jeff Teague is the one who is having a stand out year scoring 18 points per game and 7 assists along with Millsap averaging 17 points and 8 boards; make the team ultra competitive against even some of the best sides. Millsap went off last night for 23 points as well as 4/5 from down town to add to his current form. The Hawks love the 3 ball themselves, but most of the effort comes from Korver who is averaging 57% from 3 point land. They attempt around 24 per game while knocking down around 9 (which is the 6th in the NBA).

The Pacers are struggling and they might even decide at some point to tank this season. They have now lost 4 in a row but against good teams like Portland, Phoenix, Cleveland and a close loss to Scaramento in OT. While Pacers have always been known as a defensive team; they have failed to score much averaging less than 94 points per games (bottom 4 in the NBA); while their opponents are top 8 in offense. The Pacers have relied a lot of their scoring on Stuckey and West; and if they have a bad night the others have failed to chip in.

The Hawks should come through this game, but I have taken them on the handicap just in case for a more secured victory.
