Pool Stage, Leg 3
The Scarlets are playing a nice rugby this season with the venue of a New Zealander as headcoach, but they have big weaknesses in defense while they showed offensive "sterility" at away when they met teams with strong pack and especially strong defense. By example this season, they travelled to the 2 other big irish teams of the Pro 12, Munster and Leinster, and they didn't succeed to score a try against Munster while they score 2 tries against Leinster but one was lucky while the other one was at the end of the match when Leinster was leading by 35 points.
They can have the same problems tonight against another big irish team, Ulster.
Ulster has a strong pack and a very good defense, plus they welcome back its scrum-half and leader Ruan Pienaar who will finally play his first match of the season.
Plus, they also absolutely need to win this match, if possible with the bonus, in order to keep its chances to play quarter-finals.
So I think that Ulster can beat the Scarlets by more than 10 points, just like did its two irish rivals in Pro12.
