Swansea vs Crystal Palace by Jamesington

Swansea have lost none of their last six meetings with Crystal Palace, they have won four of those matches, and the Swans currently lie only 1 point away from the Champions League spots so have plenty of incentive to win.

Given their recent record at home (12 goals scored in 6 matches) Swansea have every reason to be confident ahead of the visit of Crystal Palace. Even in defeat last week they looked good against Manchester City and took the lead early on through Wilfried Bony - if Swansea are good enough to give City a run for their money, then they can certainly get the better of Palace who have lost 3 of their last 6 on the road.

Swansea have a near full first team squad to choose from, only Federico Fernandez remains out and they will be boosted by the return of former Palace wingman Wayne Routledge, a key creative outlet for the Welsh club. The away side will be missing defenders Mariappa and Delaney through injury so are likely to be weakened at the back.

4 wins in their last 6 home matches, only 4 goals conceded, and a solitary loss at the hands of high-flying Southampton is some seriously good form and the opposition - Crystal Palace - have 1 win in the same period and have conceded goals at the rate of 2 per match.

Whilst Swansea are likely to win, my suggestion is to go for a little more value and take Gary Monk's side at odds of 3.2 on the handicap.
