The Clippers have done well in all major departments except in rebounding, where they have really average 37.6 boards per game and ranked 29th while their opponents Miami are 30th in the NBA averaging 37.4 boards per game. This game will mostly be decided on the glass and with Glen Davis returning back, it gives a lot of more options for Clippers to crash the boards. Miami does not have a true centre in their team in their starting lineup, leaving Chris Bosh to do all the dirty work.
Miami have struggled in their last few games due to the absence of Wade and Deng, while also having McRoberts out and all 3 are expected to miss tonight as well. Danny Granger returned back from injury and went straight into the lineup but struggled to get back into rhythm, and why would he after being out for soo long. Mario Chalmers has replaced Wade and starting at shooting guard going 21 points per game in the last 3 games without Wade.
With soo many injuries and lack of good players, a lot of effort falls only on Chris Bosh, who will not be able to do it by himself especially when you face a team like Clippers who have 2 All-Stars in Griffin and Paul; and a host of great supporting cast like Redick, Jordan and Crawford.
Have to side with Clippers on this game.
