Wizards vs Dallas Mavericks by Lloyds

The Mavericks continue their road trip tonight in Washington, after trouncing the Charlotte Bobcats in their latest match. The visitors are on 4-game winning streak and have displayed a magnificent performance on offense since their last loss, which was against Miami. The Wizards hold the second spot in the Eastern Conference (7-2), mostly because of the soft schedule.

Bradley Beal (shooting guard) will be out for the home side tonight but he could see action at the end of this week. Along John Wall, Beal is the team's second main scorer which will cripple the Wizards' offense a bit. Washington average 98.7 ppg and are yet to suffer a defeat in front of their crowd (4-0). In the matches against Detroit and Orlando, which they won, they haven't displayed such a great performance but experience when playing in crunch time helped them get those wins. Honestly, I don't know how are they going to stop Dallas' offense, who are on fire during this win streak. In the last four games Mavericks averaged 116.7 points per game and have beaten their opponents by an average margin of 25.5 points. They are great at spacing the floor as well as having the quality inside game in Tyson Chandler. Dirk Nowitzki is playing like a "stretch 4" as his ability to shoot outside the paint makes this Dallas offense scary good. Their offense is ranked no.1 in the league at 109.3 points per game.

The Wizards haven't faced an opponent like Dallas so far which is why I give the advantage to the visitors. They look very hard to stop with this offense so expect another statement from them tonight.
