Dallas Mavericks vs Philadelphia by Lloyds

Dallas-Mavericks
VS
Philadelphia
Here we are looking at another lopsided game as 76ers visit the Mavericks. The visitors are the only team still winless in the league and they do not look great. The hosts will look to make a "short work" of them and finish the game already at halftime.

Dallas (5-3) are having playoff aspirations so they cannot allow themselves to be surprised by the worst team in the league. The visitors are likely going through another "tanking" season and its really possible that they won't even get 10 wins this season. Philadelphia is currently in a rebuilding phase as there is not enough quality on the roster to compete. The team is too young and without experience which is why they'll lose tonight, again. The Mavericks have more depth and are stronger on every position than Philadelphia, who allow staggering 106.1 points per game. The tradition is also against the visitors: last time Philadelphia won in Dallas was back in 2005. The 76ers will lack one of their main players, Michael Carter Williams, who is crucial to team's play development. Backup point guard, Tony Wrotten, averages 21.9 points per game but he won't make an impact against Dallas' backcourt. Furthermore the Mavericks will have a huge advantage in the frontcourt (Nowitzki, Chandler) as inexperience in Philadelphia's big guys is present.

Dallas are among the best offensive teams in the league and have an ability to score from all positions. The visitors are not defending good against good 3-point shooting teams which is why they are in for a long night.
