Bears vs Vikings by Jamesington
Both teams are 0-2 in divisional matches but something has to give as the Vikings visit Soldier Field and the Chicago Bears this Sunday.
This is an oddly priced match-up by the bookies as they have the Bears (Home games: 3 played, 3 lost) as 3 point favourites. Only Tampa and Oakland are currently on worse runs than Chicago and there is no sign of this turning around - the performance against Green Bay last week was terrible and as receiver Brandon Marshall stated after the lost to Miami they keep making the "Same mistakes, same mistakes, same mistakes"!
I understand the match-up being close but there is good value to be taken here in backing the Vikings to win the match (with NFL bets, if the game goes to overtime and they win then the bet still lands). Minnesota may have begun to turn their season around recording back-to-back wins against struggling Tampa and the Washington Redskins in the past two weeks. The perfect time to be playing another struggling group in the Bears.
Yes, Minnesota are without starting QB Matt Cassel, but they have dealt with his loss and Rookie Teddy Bridgewater has been playing regularly since stepping in to the side - so this should not be any major cause for concern. Adrian Peterson is also still out of the side due to non-playing reasons but again this is not a new situation so should not be looked upon as one likely to affect the match.
The Vikings are capable of beating a demoralised and, frankly, poor Bears outfit and back them to win at a good price available with Bet365. VIKINGS TO WIN @ 2.45
