NY Knicks vs Orlando by Lloyds
The home side are struggling offensively with their "triangle offense" approach. Rookie coach, Derreck Fisher, is not able to find any rhythm which is why the Knicks are only scoring 91.1 points per game (29th in the league). Starting point guard, Jose Calderon, is still out due to injury and that caused offense to be stagnant and dependable on Anthony who is not shooting efficiently. The Knicks also have troubles defending the 3-point line which is good news for the Magic, who shot well form behind the arc last night. The Magic were had the lead for the most of the game against Toronto but their inability to hold on to that lead eventually led to Toronto's win. On the road Orlando average only 92.2 points per game which is not enough for them to be victorious. The Magic also struggle defensively as they allow 101.5 points per game (20th in the league). They could hurt New York through their frontcourt as Nikola Vucevic and Channing Frye are both putting up good numbers. However, their main perimeter player Victor Oladipo is still out due to injury.
Both of these teams are not playing well but the fact that New York is playing in front of their crowd led me to pick them to win this match. Also, Orlando's horrific road record gives me confidence that the Knicks shouldn't lose tonight's contest.
