Omaha Poker
Another popular variation of poker is Omaha Hold'em. A game where each player is dealt four 'hole' cards that only they can see and use, and five 'community' cards are dealt in the middle of table table that everyone can see and use. Each player must use exactly two of their hole cards and exactly three of the community cards, to make up their hand of five best cards.
This is one of the differences between Texas Hold'em and Omaha Hold'em. In Omaha Hold'em hand can't consist of any combination of community and hole cards. The game is also split into four betting rounds.
Omaha High
Omaha Hi is a form of hold 'em. The betting and blinds are exactly the same as in hold 'em. Omaha Hi is usually played pot-limit. Pot-limit Omaha is most known and often abbreviated as "PLO".
Omaha Hi Lo Poker
Omaha Hi/Lo or Omaha Eight is very similar to regular Omaha, but the pot is split between a high hand (the same as in Omaha) and a low hand (based on five cards, which start at eight or below). Just like in Omaha Hi players are dealt four 'hole' cards and five 'community' cards that everyone can see and use. Game is offered in limit, pot limit and no limit variation.
