Bettors should be numb by Tuesday’s favourites disaster in CL, but there is one rock solid favourite that should keep the favourites pride no matter what. Barcelona have consecutive qualifications out of this stage, are the cup holders and have a good 1st leg result. All Stuttgart can do is focus on their game and make it more difficult, but I doubt they can come back when Barcelona warms up the engine. No need to expand on why Barca is better than Stuttgart, but since this bet is a handicap one I have to extend on why this could be a good price to try. We’ve seen many close games in this QF stage of CL and generally a raised level of unpredictability. However, we’ve also seen some favourites delivering with wide wins like ManU and Arsenal and Barcelona are in position to do that. They have these magic minutes that Messi and co can turn a game into a show, while Stuttgart’s defence is far from reliable. However, I’m not expecting Stuttgart to be able to score more than 1, to choose overs over handicaps, as we’ve seen Barcelona can wear an effective-team mask in such games going for a clean cut score of 2-0, getting no chances and securing their position. Of course, individual quality is massive, plus they won’t risk being close to an equalising scary goal, so I believe a 2-goal difference is a very realistic cushion for them. Prices should be of questionable value soon, so not all prices for handicaps are a good deal here. Having said that, I rate 1.95 for -1.75 AH as a 7-unit material here. GL!

Pick : Barcelona -1.75 AH Odds : 1.95 Stake : 7 / 10 Bookmaker : Stan James

Stevenage Borough look to continue their incredible home form in this match against Histon.

Stevenage are leading the Conference with 4 points against Oxford, but their rivals have a game in hand and the duel could get close. A 13-5-0 record at home with a 41-10 GD, 11 of those 13 wins coming by 2 goals or more…these results speak for themselves and the 4-0 win in the last home game against Barrow while their 6-0 destruction of Eastbourne away just continued this extraordinary trend in an impressive manner. Stevenage will be missing midfielder Michael Bostwick and forward Lee Boylan, but they have performed very well without them so no issue here whatsoever.

Histon on the other hand are 12 points safe off the relegation zone, so no worries on the team but also no determination. They have lost their last three travels, and against a similarly good team as Stevenage at home (Oxford) they lost 0-2, just for the Harriers to put a 3-0 against them in the next travel. Histon will be missing striker striker Andy Pugh, and the offensive sector will suffer this way, as he is the one that managed to score the only goal in the 1-2 defeat away at Cambridge.

Stevenage won at Barrow by 2-0 in the first part of the season and looking at current form and motivation, i can see here a 3-0 or 4-0 as the most likely results. The odds for the -1.5 handicap were not really out yet in many places, but in Bet365 i saw the Handicap result section used mostly for 1-goal margin bets, and it was priced there at 2.00 for Stevenage to win by 2 goals or more. Therefore, medium-high stakes on them should be the proper quantity here. Good luck.

Pick : Stevenage -1.5 Odds : 2.00 Stake : 8 / 10 Bookmaker : Bet365
This is a “traditional” southern derby where Marseille makes the trip to Monaco and usually their fans are coming in mass to make the atmosphere feel like it’s a home game. Monaco has basically the worst attendance for league… As a result Marseille has in general been getting great results there and surely will be looking to continue the trend.

Both teams have been up and down recently with Monaco’s streaks a bit longer. Marseille has to bounce back now after the tough loss in cup in the midweek and surely quality is much on their side even with Brandao out. Valbuena and ben Arfa are making a quite nice come back in form and I believe they’ll be valuable assets in this “home game”.

A penalty deep into Injury time gave Leeds this replay today against Spurs and they are at home ...

A penalty deep into Injury time gave Leeds this replay today against Spurs and they are at home which should be good for them…

Leeds could do something amazing today and not only advance to the next round of the FA Cup but should they win and advance they will of done so by beating two of the Premierships best sides with them already beating Manchester United in the last round before this one, Leeds might have been down at half time in that last match but the second half showed just how much fight this side has and they never gave up and that resulted in them earning the chance for a replay, Since then Leeds lost the following game 3-0 to Swindon in League 1 but backed that up in beating Colchester 2-0 getting back to winning and their Goal scoring ways, Leeds have scored only 4 goals in their last 3 matches including the match with Spurs while allowing 5 and in their last 5 home matches they have not failed to score in any of them racking up 8 Goals to the good and 4 against, Personal wise and things have gotten even better for them with a couple of good signings, but neither player can lace up their boots today and so the players in the side will want to make an impression as to not lose their starting places within the side, Other team news and Captain Naylor is back which is sure to boost the side.

Spurs had the Blues in their last match but lucky for us on the draw that they again let things slip, conceding late to give us a win, Interesting to note that Spurs have been doing that this season and the Blues late goal was almost at exactly the same time when Leeds scored their penalty to allow this match today, but at least Spurs can take heart from the fact that they are at least scoring Goals again which was a problem only a short time ago, they have now scored 5 in their last 3 matches but have won only one of those most recent fixture and that was 2 games ago at home in a 2-0 win over Fulham, they have also allowed 3 Goals in those last 3 matches also, Spurs last 5 away matches have seen them score 5 Goals but only 1 in their last 3 while conceding 5, Personal wise and Keane is gone to Celtic but Kaboul and Gudjohnsen have both come into the side, also both Bassong and Kranjcar are both fit and ready to play should they be named.

Recent Results: Last 4 between these two when played at Eland Road: Leeds 2, Spurs 1 Drawn 1….03/04 Leeds 0 Spurs 1…02/03 Leeds 2 Spurs 2…01/02 Leeds 2 Spurs 1…00/01 Leeds 4 Spurs 3

Leeds have earned this replay and will be up for the Challenge that confronts them today, scoring goals at home has not be a problem for them and to be honest Leeds I reckon are in the better place to advance here even though playing a Spurs side with a lot of talent on their books, Leeds have already beaten United and are back to winning after winning their last match while Spurs just cannot seem to grab a lead and hold onto it, especially away from home, Spurs away form should be a real cause for concern for them and they will need to fix that today if they are indeed to win and advance, I have my doubts about that and I do think that Leeds might just freak us out and win this game in 90 mins 2-1 , but forget that and look for over 2.5 instead….Good Luck.

Can Wigan get any worse, Today might just tell us as the most unpredictable side in the Premiership ...

Can Wigan get any worse, Today might just tell us as the most unpredictable side in the Premiership have a chance to redeem themselves in this Replay of their FA Cup tie, this time at home.

Wigan are the hardest side to read in the Premiership, when you don’t expect them to win they suddenly do and when you think you can bank on them you suddenly can’t, their last match against Everton they did look the better side for vast periods of that match and yet lost on really what was a single break late in the second half, up until them they looked the likely winners, Wigan are now win less in their last 3 matches including the first leg of this Tie, at home and normally Wigan can be trusted but they have only won one of their last 4 there and have allowed 6 while scoring 6 of their own, Things are hardly looking great for them but you would think they can get something from this tie, Personal wise and Moses from Palace has arrived at Wigan and could be in for this match but Gomez, Sinclair, Watson and Koumas likely will not.

Last season a friend of mine from in England came to visit me and told me some stories about Notts County and Forest, things never knew about them which gave me a great interest in those sides in General, they have Former English Boss Eriksson making the decisions for them in a footballing sense which says alot really, they may be playing League 2 Football right now but you can see they want to get back up where they belong and their results of late have been encouraging with 4 wins and a draw in their last 5 matches and 4 straight wins away from home on the trot, Scoring is not a problem for them it would seem either as they have scored 2 or more in their last 5 matches and away from home they have also scored 2 or more in their last 4, which is a good sign for them as they are facing a Lactics side they have already put 2 past and have the worst defence in the EPL, Personal wise and not much to say really, they should have a full side to choose from.

The Over here looks the best option but If form counts for anything then the Magpies are a shout here and should feel good entering this match, scoring goals as I have said they have been doing and in the First Leg of this tie they were leading 2-0 at half time but couldn’t hold on in the second half, I think they will of gained alot from the experience and they should know that they let a golden chance slip through their fingers and they have the side to rectify the mistake, Huge call here as Wigan are an EPL side but this is the FA Cup where teams have the chance to exceed expectations and I think Notts County are worth a small shot here at getting something from this Tie….Good Luck.

Pick : Notts County +1 @ 2.28 12bet 7/10

I’ll tell you what man, LordBurt could well be a genius in hiding here after the Great Henin ...

I’ll tell you what man, LordBurt could well be a genius in hiding here after the Great Henin result in the Australian Open and his pick for Laws to be the next Manager to go in the EPL because after 3 straight losses which and lets be honest will be 4 after today’s match could see him on the plank being firmly pushed, although you’d have to say that matches against Man United a resurgent Toffees outfit and a Wanders side on the rise have not helped and now against Chelsea probably the hottest side in the EPL visiting this weekend it’s hardly fair now is it? But then again when is life Fair? Not much.

Burnley lost their third successive game under new boss Brian Laws and as we have predicted, they are now in the relegation zone. The Clarets are likely to stay there after this round since we cannot really expect them to get something from the game with high-flying Chelsea.

What to say about Burnley….Um, they might need another new manager, in fact they might need a whole new team, I might be a bit unfair here as the sides they have faced aren’t exactly easy beats now are they? All the sides they have played have recently found form and have been far and away better than this Burnley side, I do feel sorry for them in many ways but that’s the world of Professional sport especially in the best Football League in the world and there is no place for the faint hearted once you get to this level, A win this weekend is highly unlikely unless every single player in this Chelsea side crashes on the bus on the way to the game and it bursts into a ball of fire, but you never know, stranger things have happened. Personal wise and Carlise came back in Burnleys last match while Bikey is back from Africa Cup of Nations. But midfielders Alexander and McCann picked up knocks in the Bolton game and will likely miss this match.

Chelsea look unstoppable right now and getting over Birmingham the way they did was pretty impressive, They have won their last 3 and are unbeaten in their last 5, however they have only kept a clean sheet twice in their last 5 matches and that was against the same side in either match Birmingham, However it is hard to them conceding to Burnley the way they have been playing, They again sit atop the EPL Table with a match in hand and unless they have a huge meltdown and United and Arsenal go unbeaten they should be the Champions come seasons end, which is good for me as I backed that before the season even begun, Not because I’m intelligent, more because they have better odds than United, lol. Personal wise and they just get better with Drogba and Kalou back from International duties (How the fuck does the Ivory Coast lose games in that tournament, when their side looks so good on paper??) And not many Injury worries at all to contend with.

Recent Results: There’s only one Chelsea 3- Burnley 0 in Rd 4 of this season.

I’m keen on 2-3 goals in this match as I really can’t see Burnley challenging them at all and I really think that Chelsea might take their feet off the pedals should they start to dominate this game to much, I also like Chelsea/Chelsea in ht/ft betting and am worried that they could score more than 3 goals on their own, but I’ll stick with 2-3 goals in this match and look for Chelsea to win 2-0 or 3-0….Good Luck.

Pick : 2-3 Goals in match @ 1.95 8/10 Bookmaker : Tabsportsbet NZ

Hamburg are not doing their best but the injuries played an important factor, however they are still scoring ...

Hamburg are not doing their best but the injuries played an important factor, however they are still scoring a lot (having one of the best attacks from Bundesliga with 36 goals scored) and host Wolfsburg who is one of the weakest sides in defense department but solid attack (35 goals scored, 38 conceded). Well, these are the stats that tends this match is going to finish with an over.

Wolfsburg have just sacked Armin Veh after seven match without win, and it seems like the trainer of the Wolfsburg’s reserves will take care of this match. So far Wolfsburg looked like a big overish team, now things can change a bit with another coach but I still think we will also see a offensive team, this would be normal as the team is winless from seven match, and another fact is that when the team has a new coach, sometimes we see a better influence in squad.

As well the h2h stats are in our favour, last time when Hamburg and Wolfsburg met the score was 4-2 for Hamburg, 3-0 and 3-1 last season with Wolfsburg winning both games. And these teams should again deliver and score goals, Hamburg must take all three points to get closer to first places but as well Wolfsburg are motivated to win.

Pick : Over 2.5 @ 1.74 Pinnacle 8/10
