Short preview. Without Amauri, Palermo are still not scoring enough goals. Their form dipped a lot since Amauri’s injury… and they have been winless since mid February. Their CL berth is at risk now… and Palermo will need to start winning matches to sustain their position… although they will be missing Amauri, Capuano, Corini, Simplicio and Zaccardo when Cagliari visit Stadio Barbera. Cagliari need ten more points to reach the mystical forty… but their away form in not really encouraging. They can defend pretty well… but their problems in scoring goals will be one major factor to consider too… and missing Esposito, Capone, Bruzzone and Langella will definitely not help. Despite their poor form… Palermo are still one pretty strong home team. They need to start winning… and with a good H2H record against Cagliari… plus Cagliari’s weakened offense, Palermo should be able to win this match. They are due a win sooner or later anyway.
