The odds on this bet are excellent in my view.

5 out of last 6 results for both teams have ended up with a "nil", and as you can see both teams have kept clean sheets in their last 2 matches..

Man City: 1-0,2-0,0-1,0-1,1-2,0-2

Charlton: 1-0,2-0,2-2,4-0,0-2,0-1

Man City have been pretty awful this year, If I had a season ticket for them, I would probably have watched the most uneventful of games of all time.

City's home record thus far reads:

Thats a goals for average of 0.66 and goals against average of 0.86. Yawn, Yawn, indeed !! If they could score at home they would be doing ok though, having kept 7 clean sheets.

But, you just never know with Man City, they are the Jekyll and Hyde of The Premiership. They are just as likely to win 2-0 as they are to lose 2-0 or to draw 0-0. I hardly ever bet on their match results. I can see Charlton coming away with the points today in a close game, with them having the more urgency for the win.

What I cant see though is both teams scoring in this.

22 of Man City's 30 games in the Premiership overall this season have ended with a "nil" for one team, a whopping 74%..Just at home its 12 from 15 - an even more encouraging 80%...And whilst the percentages arent as obvious for Charlton, They've drawn a blank in 6 of their away league games this season scoring a total of 11 goals in 15 games (0.73 goals per game).

If you HAD to pick a winner between these two, you would have to take Man City on the above stats, but maybe Charlton with the huge motivation they should have today. I'm not picking a winner though, this bet covers all 3 possible outcomes, as a 0-0 is just as likely as any other result here.

Under 2.5 looks a shoe in, but at odds of 1.6 I prefer my bet !!!
