NHL - Carolina Hurricanes vs Washington Capitals Hockey betting preview

Who would expect that last year champion would struggle for play off place this season. That happened with Hurricanes, best last season, but this season thay play great only when you don't expect. Thay are currently 8th on east, but 9th Toronto and 10th Montreal have equal points.

I really don't believe that I'm not going to see Rod Brind'Amour or Staal in playoffs, that is almost unbelieveable! It look like thay woke up in last match in New Jersey against Devilas. it was 7:2 for Hurricanes. And everybody should respect 7 goals in Devils's net. even Martin Brodeur was replaced in that game!

I saw Hurricanes shedule for rest of the season, it would be very hard in last 9 games, almost all tough opponents, so thay have to win games in Carolina, especially with poor teams like Capitals.

Capitals are long story... maybe the best player in league Alex Ovechkin plays for this team. He is currently on injury list, something is wrong with his lip, he'll probably play tonight, if he doesn't that would be most toughest player in league to be replacet, IMO it's impossible!!! It looks like Ovechkin lost will to play when Capitals lost any chances for play off. 15 of last 18 thay lost!

there are couple more players on injury list in Capitals: Pettinger, Sutherby, and I think Novotny could be hard to replace.

Carolina has only one injury problem, that is goalie Cam Ward, but his replacement looks solid, he has bigger precentage than Ward!
