In overall the team is the fourth worst defense, but last match didn't allow anything and their GK stopped apenalty so in that they are improving. They need to continue their good dispaly on this round to secure more their coach position as they are going to face a harder calendar in the end, with five matches that are consider difficult against Santos (which seems other right now), Pachuca, Cruz Azul, Monterrey and finally Chivas. So they need to take the most points before they reach those five matches.

The team is in a negative streak as they accumulate their third consecutive defeat, when they lost 0-1 to Atlante, which joint to the lack of patience of Veracruz executives means the second coach fired in this season in less than 10 matches, for this match auxiliar coach Alex Dominguez will direct this one.

It was hired Aníbal "Maño" Ruiz who six years ago was the last time that direct a team in México ( from 1989 to 2000), his last job was with the national team of Paraguay, where he was unable to classified to the second round of the world cup.

This is the third coach of the team in this season, omitting Carlos Barra which was an internt coach. The team seems lost after the pass of Gallegos, which in my opinion they didn't giive it time, it improve the defense, which came from five over games and transform it to three unders game of 1-0 against him, what isn't working is the frontline and there is where the team needs to focus more. Last three matches they haven't score a single goal.

In overall performance the team is the worst defence of the tournament and the second worst offensive. This doesn't speak well of the team and the change of coach will bring chances but it is expected to see which ones will it be, I would expect a more offensive display as what the team is needing is goals as last coach work with the defence in a good way. From last match is to highlight that "Chamagol" have scoring chances but lack of luck isn't helping him score also Tressor Moreno tried but GK Vilar make a good job.

Player Ayala establish that he has never had some many coaches in one season, and that it is really strange, but what is left on is that they will fight hard to take the victory in this match.

Jaguares on home is a fair team and I expect it to propose the game against Veracruz who has been unable to score and whose players seems lost. Veracruz I expect to follow gallegos idea for this match at least or the next two and focus more on defense, is still unknow in which match will start the new coach in this one, in the next, or the next one after this weekend at the farest.

One of the unwritten rules of betting is don't bet when there is coach change but despite that I sense that Jaguares have find better solution to their problems and that they don't face so many changes as Veracruz could face, so Jaguares -1/2 AH
