Last match the team went to Toluca, and get a very valuable draw from there. The team was in disadvantage from minute '7 but the team continue to fight to get the draw, and counterattack for getting it. At minute '22 a penalty was awarded to San Luis, MF Irenio Soares take the penalty and Toluca GK Cesar Lozano stop it, the game flow continue, but the asistant referee was with the flag up, after the referee caught this into attention, the penalty was repeated as the GK have move before the shoot. MF Irenio Soare repeat the penalty kick and this time scoring it, to determine the level on the score. From that moment on San Luis relay on their defense to not allow another goal and steal that important point. The downsize for the team was the expulsion of DF Leonel Olmedo in minute '77 which leaves their team with inferior numbers on the field, but still was able to take the draw.

The team support many shoots from Toluca in the second part but every time came out safe, even Toluca hit the post line twice in a row and the second rebound was a header that GK Adrian Martinez take to stop the pressure on San Luis. The team is slowly gathering some points in home and away to mantain a good position on the porcentage table in order to avoid relegation, which is the first objetive of the team.

San Luis focus on the defense and counterattack to get the points, still on home the team has show more aggresive and also more focus on defense, and have won last three games on home, in all of them they haven't allow a goal against. Which speaks of great defence. Their best striker is Sebastian Abre with three goals, but didn't play last game and is expected to be back for this one, which is a huge boost for the offensive of the team as FW Marcelo Guerrero was unable to score in last match.

San Luis reach a two game unbeaten streak and is looking forward to mantain their good step on home.

Finally Santos won, and more remarkable because the team was behind on the scoreline after allowing a goal from Morelia MF Fernando Arce in the first half, in that half more scoring chances for both teams, but none of it was able to score it.

In second half the team get into the match and start making a dynamic function to the match with constant goal opportunities, and shoots to Morelia net, and it take a while as was until minute '71 that Santos was able to score thanks to a good pass of MF Daniel Emmanuel Ludueña, that FW Eliomar Marcon was able to score from a header to give the equalize to the team.

Coach Daniel Guzman make some changes in his squad and send young FW Agustín Enrique, which in his first match of this tournament was able to score from header in minute '84 to give the advantage to their team. From that moment to the final of the match Santos defend with all their posibilites to aviod the draw. With the victory the team broke a 21 games streak of not winning. Also in the good news the team left the last part of the overall table to Monterrey, which due to defeat will not leave it in this round, and Santos could over pass some other teams if they won and the others loss.

Santos finally won and thisserve for the team to leave the bottom of the porcentage table, "honor" that now posses Queretaro, and this victory release a lot of pressure that was around the team and boost them in their morale to face the next games, their nearest team is UAG which was away 13 points, but which victory against Monterrey puts 16 points of distance and Santos Laguna need the victory so they can get near UAG and also put some distance between them and Queretaro.

Related to this situation is that the team could loss four points due to the fact that player GK Oswaldo Sanchez haven't fullfill all their legal duties with FMF, and altough the body has stated that there wasn't any problem, the truth is that Queretaro is asking about this and will file a claim, which can put Santos in a very hard position.

Santos is making goodplaymaking and altough absences the team have show they have the effort and spirit to get good results, still is to see if they can mantain it, or will resent the absences. In this moment the team look mid solid. Also the results can be a sign that luck is back with them, but this can only be mantain with hard work and effort and I see they have them.

Changes are expect as MF "Lorito"Gimenez and MF Mario Alberto García will go the the lineup which means that MF Francisco Torres and DF Ivan Estrada will go the bench. MF Alberto García play his first '35 minutes of the tournament in the victory and will appear on the starting lineup as well as "Lorito" Gimenez.

Santos will play with less pressure as they finally won and break a long streak, but altough that pressure have ended, the pressure that few matches are left and if they don't get the needed results and Queretaro struck some good results or won on the table the needed points then the team will be relegated, this will put pressure on the team.
