The team return to the defeat path after winning in home on their new coach presentation, the team still show one good thing in last match that was fair defence and luck, which is an improvement thanks to the coach change, but also is to consider that Tigres blow many chances and just score one.

In first half the team allow a goal from Tigres FW Fransisco "Kikin" Fonseca and saved from two more, but that was all in first half. In second half the team continues to support Tigres attacks and altough Veracruz does manage to have some chances the team didn't score. And if that wasn't bad enouhg in minute '67 the team was a player less as MF Lucas Ayala was expelled from the game. Even one shoot of Tigres from MF Gaitan strike on the post, and GK Jorge Bernal stop another of that same player. So if something can be highlight for Veracruz is the good defensive and luck.

The team on away is completely lost and have just take a draw there, but that was since the opener, and with the coach change the team is facing some chances, still we have to consider the performance display in last two games due to the fact this is a new coach, a victory 2-1 and a defeat 1-0, so this could be consider that he focus on defense and they have allow one goal in each match, still for a team that in two matches had allo 9 goals, this in a great improvement, and show some aspects of the coaching style of coach Gallegos. The long no scoring streak of FW Sebastian "Chamagol" Gonzales is streching and is something that media constantly reminds to the player, last match the player played 90 minutes and is expected that he will repeat on the lineup.

The team is expected to bounce back to victory in home as last game in home, but they face a hard task receiving the best team of the competition. The return of MF Tressor Moreno after suspension is a great news for the team.

Last match the team in home suffer to get a draw that break their three consecutive victories in home, in a game that the team was suprise to see and offensive Atlante looking for the goal, which quickly get as Atlante FW Mendoza score the opener, but later had to leave the field as he resent a problem. Atlante didn't stop attacking, but Atlas slowly regain the ball and aim to score, but first half ended, with 0-1 in the scoreline.

Starting the second half, problems for Atlas as GK Mario Rodriguez was expelled, this game Atlante numerous players superiority, but instead of Atlante increasing the score, it was Atlas that was able to score the equalizer by FW Andres Olivera and put pressure to Atlante as made continuous attacks, than thanks to Atlante showing good defense and luck. Atlas was unable to take their fourth consecutive victory in home and now get a four unbeaten games in home. But on away the team have allow the only defeat the club has, which was two rounds away, and now the team has a streak of two games without defeat.

Atlas is the best team of the competition with the first place, and showing great defense as they are the best defense only with 3 goals against, most of them in the second half. The team show dinamic and with good ball movement which helps them generate goal oppotunities, the only downsize for the team is that they blow many chances, which have cost them some matches like last one, where they where unable to score the winning goal.

Altough the absence of GK for this match, the substitute GK is really the titular GK of last season and very experience, so the team will not suffer a lot from it. Atlas is playing well thanks to Coach Omar Romano has shown than even with a less player the team dominate and generate scoring chances. The return of FW Reinaldo Navia is a great news for the coach.
