Last match of the Czech league this year. Kladno is going to meet Sparta in a central-Bohemian derby. This is the second time these teams face each other. In the second round of the Gambrinus league Kladno played at Sparta, where they surprisingly, as a team newly promoted to the Czech league, snatch one point for a draw 0:0. The trainer of Kladno knows this will be another match, as at Sparta his team played a destructive football. At home they will have to play more actively and base the game on solid defence.

The biggest problem of Sparta is called scoring. The forwards have decent problems to score, what could have been seen in the match against Plzen, who played at Sparta with a completely new defence (because of injuries and yellow cards). Sparta was able to develop a hard pressure, but nobody was able to score. At the end the captain of Sparta (Sivok) managed to score - rather happily - and snatch the win 1:0. The best forward is Dosek, a tall player who has scored 8 goals for Sparta in the league. He is the main weapon of Sparta. Kladno trainer does not prepare a man-to-man defence for this match, as he says this way the team would give space to other players.

Kladno will miss their best scorer Veleba. The trainer says it is not a big problem for him, because Veleba is good for games when the team is able to press their opponnent (what is not expected today). Fast players waiting for breaks (like Kousal and Simpson - who will start the match on the bench after an injury suffered about 6 weeks ago in a match against Teplice) will have more chance today, that's for sure.

Kladno is in a difficult position as they are only 3 points above the relegation zone, therefore they need some points from this match. I know Sparta will seek for a revenge for the shameful draw at home, but the players of Kladno will be highly motivated for this match. Also the defence of Kladno, depleated by summer sales, is much better now. Sparta will miss the captain Sivok. On the other hand, Blazek, who suffered groin injury, should be back in the net. Tough match, not many goals with a good chance for a draw. If Sparta manages to win at Kladno, I feel almost sure they will not win by 2 or more goals.
