I like the total in this match up today between the Rangers and the Twins.

The Rangers are still very hot,they lost yesterday but have won 7 of their last 10 matches,their Bullpen has been better as have their starters,they are also getting some good production from their middle order batting wise and are in form,their last road trip ended with a great morale boosting series win over Seattle and then beat the Mariners at home also in a series,they have just won 2 of 3 against Houston and now begin this series today against the Twins.

The Twins after a great series win over the Red Sox ran head first into the Toronto Blue Jays who although still not looking the best batting wise were to much for the Twins to handle and have just come off another bad series los against the Colorado Rockies in whcih their starters were'nt to bad but the Rockies made the most of their chances while the Twins did'nt,getting home into the dome could be what the Twins want but running into another hot team in the Rangers probaly is'nt what they will want.

The Rangers have alot of offesive talent and they are hitting their straps with Kinsler,Young,Bradley and Catalanottno all hitting and hitting well right now,the Twins were going well but have fallen quiet in their last 6 games,they are still manufacturing some runs but not enough to trouble their opposittion of late.Mauer,Morneau,Monroe and Cuddyer are the keys for them and make up a very deep hitting middle order in their line up.

I lke the Rangers to win here today with Bonser facing off against Feildman,Bonser in his last 3 starts against the Rangers has never gone deeper than 5 innings and has given up 5,2 and 7 runs in that sequence in those starts,but the rest says the twins will win and win well,the rangers have only won once in their last 6 games at Minesotta intrestingly enough that lone win came against Bonser last season in a Rangers 5-0 win.

I'm going to hit both but I like this total more than the Rangers to win this match,the Rangers are the 2nd higest scoring team in the league and average 5 runs per game,they are also the easiest team to score on in the league giving up on average 5 runs per game and also give up the most hits per game on average giving up 9 hits per game,they are also ranked second in hits per game themselves on average hitting 9 times per game.

The Twins are pretty good at restricting their opponents at home but if the Rangers are to get anything going in this series then it should come against Bonser,he has a bad record against them and he is running right into them at a time when he has not been good and they have been,so i'll have a medium sized bet on the total being 9 runs or over from my local...Good Luck.
