Mate don't write the Sharks off just yet, they are a powerful team whose defence is simply brilliant. Forget about the last time these two met, Ruan Pienaar is getting the backline going from flyhalf and kankowski is destroying every team with his running.

Hello Jumbo, you are the expert of NRL here, with all respect, may i ask you that if you think south is going to get the wooden spoon of 2008. TAB offers this bet @ 1.7, and i think it is quite gernious.

Hello Kate,Sorry for not replying sooner,I would concur unfortunatly that yes Souths will pick up the Wooden Spoon,Back that in.

Two semis this weekend with the Crusaders playing the Hurricanes in one semi in Christchurch and the other being played in Sydney between the Tahs and Sharks.
One game is clear cut,the Tahs will beat the Sharks, the other is not so clear cut,the Crusaders have not been in the berst form and Dan Carter has got to stop kicking the ball away, but besides that they will have their work cut out for them as the Canes have been very good in recent times and the Crusaders if they do have a team who they struggle with it's actually the Hurricanes and I think the Canes will beat them this weekend.
The other game is the one that we should focus on,the Tahs play after the Crusaders match and so they will know the result of whom they could possibly play in the Final if they can get past the Sharks,I have no doubts that the Tahs will win this match and progress and depending on the Crusaders result could very well be holding the final at home in Sydney in 2 weeks against the Hurricanes.
Really the two form sides of this comp who have been in form for the last 7 weeks have been the Tahs and Canes and it would be a fitting final to see these two square off in two weeks time in Sydney.
The Tahs at home have been invincible this season but the real reason I like both the Tahs and Canes to win is because of their superior defensive efforts over the last 7 rounds, neither side has allowed alot of points and both have been great at counter attacking,so if this is to be the final then it should be a beauty of a game and I expect the Home side to come out on top,In fact i'm almost positive that even if the Canes don't get up on Saturday Night that the tahs are playing so well that even a trip to Christchurch could be in their favour, they really are looking very solid on both sides of the ball as are the Canes and theser are the two teams I think will be facing off in two weeks time, even if the Canes lose the tahs won't and a trip to Christchurch to hoist the Trophy could be on the Cards...Take the Tahs to win the 2008 Super 14...Good Luck.
