Eurovision Semi-Final 2 - Iceland vs To Qualify Eurovision betting preview

The band Euroband will represent Iceland on this year's ESC with the Eurodance-track "This is my life". Well, there is nothing special in this song, I would say back to the 90s, an uptempo disco-pop song. Many teams heared before, but there are enough people who still like this kind of music and the fact, that's the only Eurodance song this time will reach enough young people to vote for it.

I expect Iceland to get 5 to 10 points from these countries: Denmark, France, Sweden, UK, Malta and Portugal. 1 to 4 points from: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech. Republic, Cyprus, FYRM, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Serbia and Turkey. So I would be surprised, if Iceland gets less than 60 points, my call is 75 and a place between 5. and 7. Even they start the second semi-final and they lack neighbour voting, this is for me a sure qualifier, cause the song is memorable enough, the rehearsals were both excellent, great vocals. My odds would be about 1.50 (because of lack of neighbour voting, not because of the song). Good luck Euroband!
