From the outside looking in this looks like a clear cut win to the Sharks,but both clubs are missing players and for me that evens this game up alot,also the Sharks at home are far diferent from the Sharks away from home also.

The Sharks go into this match as clear favs against the Broncos but really should they be?I'm not sure,the Sharks are without Bird and Gallen and both players have been instrumental in the Sharks matches this season,without them and even Kimmorley might struggle to get them over the line,the Sharks on average score 2 trys per game and even a weakened Broncos side can register points and probaly more than that also,the Sharks have been great in defence but in their last two matches they have held big leads in the first half and faded in the second,against Penrith they lost and last week they were lucky to hold on against he Cowboys,I really wonder about this match as the Sharks dom not have a great record aganst the Broncos and in the past Baby Bronco sides have actually gotten up against their more fancied opponents.

The Broncos are without Marsh,Hunt,Hannant,Hodges,Thaiday and Lockyer for this match and that really changs this side into more of a very good forward pack with average backs,but they will score points here against the Sharks the real question is how many and can they hold out the Sharks,on both counts i'm inclined to think they can,the Broncos are a team who play well under adversity and thewy are at that point today for sure,but with a forward pack of Carroll,Ennis,Sims and Parker and some real speedy backs I give the Broncos a big chance of beating the Sharks even while missing all those players,they have ad Bennett back this week after being missing for the Test match last week and he would of flogged them after their lack lustre effort last week and the Broncos could just respond here tonight.

Recent results and it's all Broncos winning 6 from their last 7 against the Sharks,but the Sharks did break their duck against them last season winning 16-8 at Toyota Park,intresting side note that the Broncos had won their previous 3 matches at Shark Park with the exact same score line of 16-12.

I'm going to give the Sharks the benefit of the doubt here but i'm really unsure about it,the Broncos may be under strngth but they can and do rise to the occasion at times,Ricky Stuart is back from Test Duty and will be really talking to his players and telling them what he expects from them and that is another reason to think the Sharks might get up here,the Losses of Bird and Ballen for the Sharks is huge but for the Broncos it's even more so with their missing players including their two best backs and halves pairring abd with that in mind i'll take the Sharks to win it but the Broncos to keep it close ...take the Sharks by 12 points or less...Good Luck.
