I really don't get these odds. Elena Vesnina is at least three times better in terms of quality than the Czech. I even believe she will win this match in straight sets, and I took that bet for small stakes as well. Vesnina played quite well last week in Berlin where she got defeated by Kirilenko after wasting three match points and after many more great opportunities to finish the match. Benesova played her only matches on clay on home soil at one tournament in Prague last week where she got knocked out in QF to Slovenian Srebotnik. I think that she is generally a pretty weak player, with not that many good options in her tennis game. So eventhough it's true that the Russian doesn't play maybe her best tennis on clay, the quality is totally on her side and it's gotta be the deciding factor here. I really can't understand such a huge underestimation of the Russian, who should realistically be the favorite in this match, even according to the bookies.

These two haven't faced each other up until now so after today's match their H2H should look like 1:0 in favor of Vesnina, because Benesova is really a lower class compared to her. High stakes due to enormous value of this bet.
