First round of Brasilian Serie A , Fluminense travel to Bello Horizonte to face Mineiro .
Mineiro play quarter-finals return leg next weak , they are focused on game with Botafogo ( away ) , first leg ended 0-0 . To win Copa Brasil it is very important , winner will play in Libertadores Cup next season ... last year Fluminense focused on this competition and played first rounds of Serie A with B team ... Flu won Copa Brasil and booked a place in Libertadores .
Now , Flu advanced to next stage of Libertadores .. 1st leg of quarter-finals next week . For this match with Mineiro "baby" Fluminense will have theyr chance ... all regulars but one ( gkper ) are rested !
Mineiro will rest also important players ( captain Marcos , Petkovic , Danilinho -injury and striker Marques some names that wont start ) .
.... Youngsters Alan and Tarta will have theyr chance tonight to impress again ( those very young players impressed at the end of last Serie A season when Fluminense played " for nothing " , already securing Libertadores place by winning Copa Brasil ) ...
I bet twice on "baby" Flu : to lose @ Botafogo ( Fogao played with regulars and won 3-1 , I won ) ; and to lose at home to Madureira ( I lost , youngsters won 4-0 ! ) .... this time I wont bet against them ...
All the value on " baby" Flu , some bookies removed this game ... dont forget that Mineiro and Cruzeiro are fierce rivals , the fact Cruzeiro played in Libertadores this year will motivate Mineiro to win Copa Brasil , they willl need at least a draw with goals in Rio with Botafogo next week to advance in semis .
To stick on missing players is good , but not working always this trick ( on long run you win , true ) .. I remember last year Palmeiras without 9 regulars won derby with Corinthians 1-0 .
