Well in this match I’m going again on the underdog, for me slight advantage the indians have in the starter pitcher, will not be enough to win this one, the blue jays will have a better bullpen and are hitting a lot better.

Well when we look at the pitchers we could say the Indians have an edge, that’s probably right and that’s probably the reason why they are favourites here, but I don’t their advantage in pitching is that big, why?

They will send in A laffey, doing a great season with a ERA of 2.84, but he only took part in two games so far. He was a rookie last year and did some average stuff (ERA of 4.56) – he is a pitcher that strikes out good, but has bad control. Maybe his stats are good, but I’m not that confident, he made a god game against the Kansas City and made a bad game against the Yankees, tonight against the blue jays( that are hitting quite good) I’m guessing he will do a bad one.

In the blue jays side , the pitcher will be D McGowann , he has a season ERA of 2.95, but he is a lot more reliable, he comes from two amazing games (against the red sox and the white sox) where he stroke out a lot and made some wonderful pitching. So I’m going against the number saying that I believe McGowann will pitch better then Laffey. The bullpen will have a real importance on this one, and in here the blue jays also have advantage (3.34 vs 4.25).

The final aspect that makes me bet this way is the hitting, well the blue jays in this one are so much better (0.276 vs 0.197), the Indians are in this moment one of the teams hitting worse in the league, on the opposite the blue jays are doing a pretty good work on it. So a big handicap here.
