As I will be retiring from doing this at the end of the Rugby League season this year,I have decided to do a few of this weeks last round matches in the EPL as I don't do many Football games but as it will be my lkast chance to I will have a go at some of the more impotant games this weekend in the final round of the EPL.

The Relagation Battle this season is a good one,not as good as last years but still well worth following for some excitement,Derby is Gone,but there are still 3 teams all fighting to saty up in Birmingham,Fulham,Reading and Bolton,Bolton have a superior Goal difference and although I see them falling to Chelsea their Goal diff should see them stay up,Fulham and Reading are on the same points but Fulham have the front running with a better goal difference although Reading play away to Derby which should see them home but not staying up unless they win by more than 8 goals and Fulham lose and score no Goals at Portsmouth,and Birmingham must beat Blackburn and hope for other results to go their way,I have a feeling that Birmingham will stay up and beat Blackburn while I also think that Reading and Fulham will record draws and drop down,iffy I know but lets see what we can come up with anyway....

Portsmouth early season form is now looking shaky,a couple of weeks ago and they had 5th spot in their sights but now they have forgotten about it and will likely be focused on their up comming FA Cup final,Portsmouth are not in form and will be looking for some against Fulham to get themselves ready for Wembeley,but it won't be easy at all,Portsmouth have now lost their last 3 matches to Boro 2-0,Rovers 0-1,Man City 3-1 and recorded a goaless draw against Newcastle the week before that,they have scored only 1 goal in their last 4 games and their normally hard nosed defence has conceeded 6 goals in their own net,Portsmoth will really want to turn up here today and have a crack but Fulham will have the same idea.

Fulham of all the relagation Battle sides have been in the best form,they have won 3 of their last 4 thier lone loss comming to Liverpool 0-2,but they have won their last two and have been showing some real determanation over the last couple of weeks,they have beaten Man City away 2-3 and last week beat them relagation foe Birmingham 2-0,so of all the sides in the battle Fulham are looking the most likey to stay up,but looks can be decieving.

Matches between these two are normally close affairs,Portsmouth when they were going through that great run earlier in the season beat Fulham away 0-2,but Fulham were not playing at all well then like they are now,the two previous matches were 1-1 draws.

Fulham have it all to play for here and I expect them to give a good account of themselves but I expect the game to end in a draw,Portsmouth owe Fulham no favours and will be looking for some sense of form before their last big game of the season,I think with it all to play for that Fulham will drive this game hard looking for the win that wil see them stay up,but unfortunatly I don't think they will win and I think this match will end in a draw and other results will need to go there way..Take the Draw..Good Luck.
