This is a strange match after a test,normally these two sides would lose alot to a test match,but this season and only one Eagle in Kite is backing up and only one Bronco in Hodges,so both teams look pretty fresh here really.

Manly are still without Watmough and also have Lyon back at stand off which has been adreadfull place for him to play and I think that although the Broncos will be short on players themselves that Lyon at Standoff will be a major factor in this game,they have both their starting centres in for this match in Bell and Matai but wihtout good ball from first receiver they could be found wanting in crucial times in this game and if there is any side playing wqell enough to dealk with that it's the Broncos.

The Broncos could be without Hodges this weekend as he has been struggling and I really don't know if he will pull through the test as he has been playing hurt all season long,but the might of the Broncos forward pack and Peter Wallace should see them through,the Broncos forward power this season has been very strong and their starts to their matches have been great,with Players like Ennis,Wallace and Carroll in their line up and all of them playing well I just think the Broncos willbe to strong for the Eagles today.

Recent results and the Eagles have won the last two against the Broncos includinga win here last season 6-18,but normally the Broncos account for the Eagles pretty well at home.

This game like a couple of others has players with points to prove,now you have two Former Australian Fullbacks on show here both trying to stake claim to a Rep jersey and both want it back,Slater might have the Job but I still rate Hunt as the best tactical Fullback in the comp and defensivly he is superb,you also have Stewart on the other side looking to get into the NSW fullback position for Origin and he'll get it but both those players will be out to show they are still top class and were both unlucky to not be called into the test side,But I can't ingnore the Broncos forward power and I think that will carry them home,they have a good hard nosed forward pack that can go forward and that will cost the Eagles alot here without Watmough,I fancy the Broncos here in a thriller..Take the Broncos by 12 points or less...Good Luck.
