Not much time tonight to make previews, so i’m going to be quite direct here – don’t understand why the astros are favourite here, really don’t. The nationals have almost everything in their behalf, and so being considered such a huge underdog I’m going on them.

O Perez will be the pitcher for the nationals – he has a season ERA of 3.18, posting some great pitching lately – last 3 games he has a ERA of 1.89, simply great. Perez has been striking out a lot, and keeps himself in the game for 5, 6 innings.

R Oswald will be the pitcher for the astros, he has a season ERA of 5.57, and has been showing some poor control.

The bullpen will play a part in their game, but the differences are small – Houston has a edge there, but for me is not that significant (3.57 vs 4.44). finally the batting, in here the Astros also have a slight advantage (0.291 vs 0.280) but we have to consider the nationals faced some harder pitchers recently. Yesterday Houston won, tonight I think it’s the nationals turn.
