Once again I don't tip on US Sports and have a great day,I'm going to take a shot at this game here and hope i'm not putting the mockers on it by putting it on here as everything else I put on here for US Sports this year has bombed big time,so this is it,If I get it I might carry on but if I don't thats it for NBA for me this season as I hate being wrong and I really can't explain how come whenever I put it on here and when I don't I have massive luck on my side,so here we go.

This series between the Magic and Pistons could be over early as the Pistons have really just dominated the Magic right from the outset of this series,the Pistons aftre getting past the 76ers have just blown the Magic off the Court in the first two games of this series and it will take a huge effort by the Magic to get home today also,the first game the Pistons won by 19 and although they only won the second game by 7 the matrch was never in doubt really right from the opening tip off,the Pistons have found their feet at the right time and McDyess,Prince,Wallace,Hamilton and Billups are all shooting the house down and their defence has been great,the NBA might not want the Pistons to win the East but it is looking more and more likely with every match they play.

The Magic have not been good so far in this series and alot of it has to do with how they start their games,their first quarters right since the beginning of the Finals series this season have not been good and Orlandos constant going back to 3 pt shots is just not working,Game 1 and they were awful,Game 2 and they did get better production from Lewis and Turkoglu imparticular but Howard was awful again in the first quarter and Nelson was'nt much better,their starts to these matches have really set them back and while against the Raptors it did'nt cost them the team they are playing right now in the Pistons is a far different oppositiion and the Magic have had little if any luck against the Pistons in recent memory.

The Pistons have won 8 of the last 10 against the Magic including 3 of the last 4 in Orlando,In Game 1 the Pistons limited the Magic to only 40% shooting wise and in Game 2 it was much the same as the Magic shot at 43% from the field,but their 3 pt shots and attempts are costing them big time,In Game 1 they made 2 of 15 3 pt shots and from the freethrow line they made only 10 of 20 to sit om 50% from the line,Game 2 was better as the Magic went 11 from 26 in 3 point shots and from the free throw line they went 18 from 23,but their freethrows are costing them particuarly when you look at what the Pistons are doing,In Game 1 the Pistons shot 3 from 8 from 3pt land and freethrow wise made 16 of 18 attempts and in Game 2 the Pistons were better going 4 from 12 3 pt shots made and from the free throw line they were 24 from 28,the Pistons on this series are hitting their freethrows at a massive 88% while the Magic are sitting well down on only 65% from the line,that has been a major reason as to why they are struggling to match it with the Pistons,the Pistons are making the little things count while the Magic just are'nt.But by far the biggest telling factor in this series is that the Magic have turned the ball over 13 times in Game 1 compared to the Pistons 6 times and in game 2 the Magic turned the ball over 13 times while the Pistons only did so 8 times,the old saying is protect the ball and get the win,the Pistons are doing it,the Magic just are'nt.

The Pistons have been saying over the last few days that they were not happy with their finish in Game 2 and really thats the truth,they held a 12 point lead at the end of the 1st Quarter and then were down by 4 points in the 4th before the Magic went cold and only sunk 2 shots in the final 7 mins of that game,The Pistons have said they can do better and from what i've watched you'd be crazy to think that they could'nt,the Pistons have a great defence and apart from the 3rd quarter in Game 2 in which the Magic won by scoring 36 points the Pistons have looked very dominant throughout,I think the Pistons can add to their 9 straight Play off wins against the Magic and make it 10 today..Take the Pistons to win Game 3 of this series...Good Luck.

I should also say here that every time I have tipped a game in the NBA this finals series and it has failed it has happened in the very next match,so if Detroit don't win today geuss what i'll be on in Game 4,I took both totals two days ago on here as well and both lost whereas the next games both went over the totals,Figures that does'nt it.
