Another bet that I'm taking with big stakes today. This is a match between two similarly ranked tennis players, but the key thing about this bet is the current form. PHM plays by his standard at the moment, his play can vary sometimes but lately he's been playing great on clay. Last week he was defeated in the semis of Munich, in one extremely tight match vs. Bolleli which is definitely a solid sign of his good recent form. Karlovic, on the other hand, plays catastrophic lately. His serve is slowly losing its killer characteristics and preciseness that we all remember this player for. That serve is even weaker on clay. Croatian 'giant' has been defeated to some much lower-ranked players in the past weeks such as Monfils, Montanes, Machado, he struggled with out-of-form Grosjean... Not to mention how much worse his moment has gotten, considering he is already very slow on the court.

PHM will probably resolve this in straight sets, it's possible that Ivo will show some resistance in the start but he shouldn't be causing much trouble to PHM today, who is actually a pretty quick player and I don't doubt he will move Karlovic all around the place.
