Things are about to get intresting here in the West as the Hornets face the Spurs in a Series which from the outside looking in looks brilliant.

The Spurs swept aside the Suns with ease and now look to do the same thing to the Hornets but this is a far harder proposition than the Suns,the Spurs big guns have been in great touch of late and Duncan,Ginobli and Parker have come right when you need them to in the Playoffs,the Spurs have really lifted onthe back of Duncan and Parker,with Parker becomming almost unstoppable in his most recent games and his match up with Chris Paul is worth the admission price alone.

The Hornets dismissed the Mavs pretty easily and now are at home to start this series against the Spurs,the Hornets have been getting major production from Paul,West,Chanderler,Pargo and Stojakovic and they will all need to continuie to plkay a very solid brand of basketball to get past the Spurs.

The Spurs have the edge on the Hornets wining 8 of the last 10 against them,and the Spurs are also 6-4 against the Spread against them.

This game will be close but I actually expect the Hornets to either win or just lose by a few points,the Spurs are in form right now and Paul against Parker is the key to this series,both have been playing well and both are looking confident,I have a feeling the Spurs will start this series trying to get a win to give them an advantage in the Series and form wise you would be mad to not take them to do that,but I think this game while both teams are still comming to terms with each other could be the highest game in this series and i;m on this total also..Good Luck.
