Well this one is simply unbelievable… the twins are a underdog here, and this handicap bet is really to good to be true. Of course the tigers have a better team, but tonight the twins have everything in their favour.

Lets see then:

Justin verlander will be the starting pitcher for Detroit – he is a great pitcher but has started this season poorly, he has a season ERA of 6.50, and has made consistent bad games, he almost blew every game he pitched this season. He has almost striking out 2, 3 per game, and has showed lack of control. It’s true he faced some difficult opponents, but so bad, even that doesn’t excuse him.

On the other hand we have scott baker, which is a reasonable pitcher and this season is doing a lot better then Verlander. He has a season ERA of 4.50, and is showing some good signs lately – he has been striking out a lot lately.

But the main advantage here is that Verlander has been showing very poorly away this season while backer playing at home has outdone himself, so I expect a advanatage in pitching from the twins, if we add to that the great bullpen the twins are sowing at home and the terrible bullpen the tigers are showing away… (1.52 vs 5.72) things get pretty unbalanced here.

Another really bid edge for the home team has to do with the bating, they are batting a lot better lately (0.294 vs 0.260) , they have a lot more options upfront of players with good confidence , so I believe in a comfortable win from the twins here – tis odd is huge.
